The city of hundred towers...and bridges!

Stověžatá Praha: the "city of a hundred towers".

Thus, Prague is known as the "city of a hundred towers" (Stověžatá Praha in Czech). This is due to its many golden towers with the tip and the spiers of the medieval churches that rise above the city sky.

But given the number of its bridges, it could also be called "the city of a hundred bridges"!

But this is not completely true, in fact the number of bridges is more than one hundred. The city is crossed by the Moravian river and is spread over nine hills: Letná, Vítkov, Opyš, Větrov, Skalka, Emauzy, Vyšehrad, Karlín and finally the highest one, Petřín.

A truly unique city, a metropolis that has managed to retain its ancient and romantic charm typical of the Bohemian region.
